Sprite ✦ Mermaid Monstergirl

This is a static (not animated) sprite suitable for visual novels, browser games, and other forms of interactive fiction—wherever you need some scales and sharp teeth.

The download includes a compressed folder (.zip) which contains:

• 11 total transparent .pngs (360px by 520px)
• 7 expressions
• 2 poses
• 1 water overlay
• 2 base sprites without water overlay 
• 1 pixel art sprite (294px by 380px)

This hungry mermaid was originally made several years ago for a baking-themed VN demo. The sprite has been dusted off for the Make Visual Novel Assets Jam. 

Use or modify (resize, crop, paint over, recolor, animate, etc) however you like, but please provide attribution. (e.g. "sprite by Grim Baccaris" in credits). For more information about crediting assets like this one, see CC-BY-4.0. Free or commercial use are both fine.

Unfortunately, it's been so long that I've lost the layered .psd version, but you can mix-and-match the .pngs to adjust her expressions and the overlay. This sprite is a bit small and low-definition, but I'm still fond of her.
