Hey, great game! I know this is 3 years late, but in the tagline of the game it says τόπο ανάπαυσης which should mean resting place, but the correct way to write it is τόπος ανάπαυσης. I hope this doesn't come off as rude, cheers!
i really love the art!!! it took me 4 times to replay it to start to understand it though.. but the passage of time was cool and i really like the colour change that signifies it! i think this is a very lovely game! i do like that it doesnt really have any text but it doesnt make it a bit more confusing.. i think its the way you used the 2 colours so it felt like i should be able to pick up items or at least understand where to go but that just made me confused..
but as i replayed it and began to understand it- i really go like it a lot! its mostly just not as intuitive as it could be (the only thing i can think of is adding a third colour for the tiles.. which is an easy hack to do in the bitsy editor.. that way the aesthetic of how you used the colours stays but you have a different colour that leads you through the game..) SORRY!! i didnt mean to give a critique at all and you can ignore all this!
td;lr- i really enjoyed your game!! but it took a couple of times replaying it to fully understand the experience!! the art is super lovely though!!!
No worries, thanks so much for the feedback! I'm super glad you enjoyed the game and its art!!
The "self control" theme became more about observing the changes in the environment than changing it yourself, but I was a little concerned that having items and sprites you can't interact with might be confusing, so I understand what you mean; the fact that they can't be used and are left up to the player to interpret could have been clearer. I was aiming to indicate exits by a unique tile or a path, but I think a third color would have definitely helped way more to highlight that, because as things are they can blend in to the rest of the environment. I'd love to try that hack in the future! Is there a specific resource I can check out to learn more?
mostly we all just share hacks and stuff in the bitsy discord https://discord.gg/9RfrSE6 here's a link if you're not in it! and here's how the colour hack is done https://drive.google.com/open?id=10BX6seqdX1XpMGlSo57Ah_d26qwefcLU pretty much you can add as many colours you want as long as you paste them into the colour palette and then add a COL 3 and etc under the tile (it starts from COL 0 so you can like colour sprites to look like the tile colour by just using COL 1) oh and a place to store/add tutorials has been started: https://github.com/bitsy-cookbook/bitsy-cookbook/wiki (it doesn't have much on it yet but it is something that's being worked on) hope this is all useful ;D

Not at all, thanks so much for pointing that out! My grasp of Greek is still a total work-in-progress, so I appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the game!
