HATCHLING is a tiny Bitsy+Twine demo for a larger story I'm thinking about working on this year. It's also a sequel of sorts to my Divination Jam entry, AUGUR & HARUSPEX, but you don't need to have played A&H to understand this game.
Made for the Egg Bitsy Jam with Twine® and Bitsy by Adam Le Doux, also using Borksy by AYolland with hacks by Sean S. LeBlanc.
TO INTERACT WITH EMBEDDED FILES:
- Click on the frame (black box) containing the Bitsy scene.
- Press the down arrow key and the text should advance.

I talked to each of them and then it just ends. Did I miss something?
After the first three options, a fourth unlocks, then after viewing that, the ending is available. It's a bit abrupt because this is more of a demo or proof-of-concept than anything!
The screenshots show human figures and such, is none of that actually in the game then? All that appeared for me was the same blank void for each of them.
Whoa, that's DEFINITELY a bug; thanks so much for letting me know. The screenshots on this page should all be visible in-game.
What browser are you using, and is your browser up to date? If I can replicate the bug, I can hopefully fix this or find a workaround.

I should specify, it's not a totally blank screen, they're just all like this:

Also no dialogue appears in the text boxes below the image, I'm guessing that's part of the bug as well.
Okay, thanks for the info! If you click inside the frame of the Bitsy portions, then press the down arrow key (or any other arrow key), does the text start advancing at all?
